The daytime temperatures will be inching ever upwards- it is to be a high of 85 come Monday. We will be starting the weekend with our weekly Saturday morning ride. We would love it if you would join us! We meet at the Towpath Trail parking lot located at the SE corner of Wooster Rd and 2nd St NW. The ride begins promptly at 8:30am. One of our favorite short routes is the Friendship 7 route.

Have you been planning your bike decorations? Six to twelve year olds are invited to participate in a Bike Rodeo! The Friends of Wadsworth Trails is sponsoring a free bike safety inspection, skills course, and bike decorating contest. The event will be held on Saturday, May 30th at Wadsworth Memorial Park parking lot from 10 am to 12 pm. More information and a poster about the event can be found on our website : Wadsworth Bike Rodeo

Riders of all ages are encouraged to get out their bike bling and decorate their bike for our
Bike Decorating Contest and Parade to be held on Friday, June 5th as part of the Magic Mile Barberton Grand Opening Celebration.  We will be gathering at the Snyder Avenue Trailhead of the Towpath Trail at 9:30 am. The contest is open to bikes and persons of all ages. We will award prizes for the best decorated bikes! While we hope you will decorate your bike we welcome all helmeted cyclists to join us riding in the parade. Following the awarding of prizes we will parade the 1/2 mile north on the Towpath to the ceremony at the bridge connector. Following the ceremony we will continue the parade by riding the Magic Mile. You can then finish off the event by enjoying lunch at one of the many restaurants in downtown Barberton. There will be live music as it is also NDS’s Out to Lunch event.
