As I am writing this post the sun is shining and while the current temperature is only 43 degrees outside it is slowly and steadily creeping towards the projected high today of 54. Today it really does feel like it is 10 days, 53 minutes, and 52 seconds, (at the writing of this post) until the first day of spring!
Our friend Dan will be enjoying Wednesdays weather as it will give him an opportunity to ride his new bike in the snow.
We received the information below in an email from the Ohio & Erie Canalway Coalition: “If you actively use the trails in Summit County, we would like to invite you to take part in a research group at the Taylor Institute for Direct Marketing at the University of Akron (located in the Polsky building, downtown Akron) on March 19, 20 and 24 from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. In the focus group, we will be evaluating a website application that is designed to assist trail users. Your input and feedback will help shape this innovative tool that will be used in Summit County. We encourage you to take part in this exciting research opportunity. If you are willing to participate in this important research project, contact Bailey Roth, Office and Program Assistant, at the Ohio & Erie Canalway Coalition at 330-374-5657 or email her at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Please respond by March 14, 2014. Thank you for your interest and we look forward to hearing from you soon.”
