The last time Don and I rode our bicycles on this trail it was known as the Hike & Bike Trail. At that time several of the trail entrances were spread with rail road gravel, but long sections of the trail were paved. Fast forward to the present and the many trail improvements. All 34 miles of the trail is paved .The trail entrances have been smoothed out-no more large gravel. We got on the trail at the trail head at SR 303. We have heard from several customers and read articles of the area around Brandywine Falls and new bridges that allowed for continual riding rather than crossing roads. Our plan was to ride the the Cuyahoga County line at Sagamore Road and back for a distance of about 20 miles.
Sunday afternoon was warmer than Saturday and Friday, but the air was still cool when you were riding in the shade. Every trail head we passed was full of cars so many others shared our idea, all in all it was a good riding day. We spotted a couple of deer along the ride, we stopped to appreciate the ledges, the Brandywine Falls of course, and the Oasis. We hope you enjoy the gallery.
