Sunday, 11-15 mph winds were forecast, and I think we had the full 15 on the ride. The forecast had also indicated possible rain but definite overcast skies. We enjoyed sunny skies and 74 degree temps. The batters enjoyed the wind, and we did not mind it inbound as it was a tail wind.
However, the Tow Path Trail between Fairview and Waterloo Road trail heads has really taken a beating over the winter. There were deep ruts and foot prints that made for an adventurous journey in both directions. It was great to leave the car at home and ride to the game. We entered the trail at the Fairview and rode to the stadium, locking our bikes just outside by the ticket window.
The herons were also enjoying the sun and warmth.
