Tomorrows forecast is for warmer temperatures but a bit less sunshine. Tomorrow is the annual Cranksgiving Ride. This is a national ride and is being organized locally by Summit Cycling Center. Don and I will be working at the shop on Saturday-the ride allows for same day registration at 8am with the ride starting at 9am. The rides flyer is available online: Cranksgiving Akron, and the ride has a Facebook page. Tomorrows 40 degree highs with a slight chance of precip call us to recommend the following riding attire.
The arm and leg warmers are made with Thermolite, an insulating material. The High Performance Repel TEFLON® fabric protector will give you comfort as well as it is water repellent. Their silicone grippers make them stay in place.
The toe covers are super compact, they will easily go in a back jersey pocket or bag until you want to wear them. Their one size fits all makes them a great cycling gift. Their cleat compatible sole and reflective markings make them a cycling favorite.
The socks are made of Merino wool and have a high warmth to weight ratio. Your feet and toes will say thanks long after the ride.
The wind may or may not be a factor when you are riding, but you won’t care as your gloves feature a windproof front and waterproof back hand covering.
Finally, the sun may peep out from time to time so be prepared with sunglasses. We have some Ryders performance sport sunglasses on sale-50% listed price.
