Out riding with the chippies and bunnies on the Towpath

by Ruth Kaser for Cycling Articles

Both moved way to fast on the trail to be photographed-the chipmunks and rabbits. Wednesday was a beautiful day, but the day almost got by us before we had a chance to get on the bikes for a ride. It was almost dinnertime by the time we were through with our days tasks and fresh sweetcorn just purchased from the Farmers Market awaited for dinner.

One of my favorite places to ride when I only have an limited time is on the Towpath. We got on the Towpath via the Connector Bridge and were pleased to notice a more detailed map of Downtown Barberton in place at the Kiosk. The aforementioned chippies and bunnies were our main companions as we rode from the Connector to the Center Rd Trailhead and back-a distance of about 11 miles.

We had to stop and take pictures of the beautiful wild flowers, and I wondered about the large wings-paned birds circling above us as we climbed the hills along that section.
