Our route on July 4 was on the one we had taken before, we head out to Clinton via the roads and return via the Tow Path trail. Today we meant to set out early-we ended up starting out at around 8am-it was already around 80 degrees.
The buzzards were circling as we sat on the bench at the Clinton Trail head observing the riders, walkers and joggers. I decided they, meaning the buzzards, were wondering just where everyone was going. We observed people with camping gear-there are primitive camp sites on this section of the path, and we saw people with full panniers. Quite a few people had our idea of riding/being out early in the day.
We rode around the downtown of Clinton to see if there were any new businesses or if there was still a bike shop-the answer was no to both questions.
