This past week we received:

  • Registration forms for the 5th Annual Earn for the Burn: A charity ride sponsored by Rittman Firefighter’s Assc. & Orrville Cycling Club. It is a bicycle poker ride for cyclists of all ages. The ride has routes of 3 different lengths starting with 14 miles. More information can be found at www.earnfortheburn.org.
  • Registration forms for the Richfield Sweet Corn Challenge and 5 K run. Four routes of various lengths starting at 10 miles as well as a 5k run or walk. More information can be found at www.sweetcornride.com.
  • Notification from Bike Cleveland for their Bike Spark 2017 ride. All proceeds from BikeSpark go to the cycling advocacy nonprofit Bike Cleveland. With a staff of three and a fully committed board and other volunteers, Bike Cleveland works for cyclist-friendly physical and legal infrastructure in Northeast Ohio. The organization works year-round to promote safe bicycling for children and adults in our communities and to build a fun, healthy and sustainable transportation movement for our future Three routes offered starting with a 15 mile scoop ride.   • Back Roads & Beaches: Bike and Multisport Routes in Lorain County/North Central Ohio. This is a multi city flyer with points of interest and possible routes through Oberlin, Vermillion, Lorain and Suffield Lake/Avon Lake. More information can be found at visitloraincountyohio.com
