Switching Gears Bike Map
Picture yourself enjoying a bicycle ride on the Freedom Trail. You are riding along enjoying the scenery and you reach the trails end near Kent. You spot a sign that indicates you can continue riding and just beyond is the Hike and Bike Trail. If you have not ridden this trail before, are not familiar with the area you can still follow the signage and enjoy a continued ride. You can also bring along the Switching Gears Bike Map that includes bike trails and you can see how to continue your ride.
We have a supply of these free maps. Stop in to get one for your self and a friend.
We completed our rides for the Summit Metro Parks Biking Spree with a Sunday ride on the Freedom Trail. We rode the length of the completed Freedom Trail and took pictures of the progress of the construction of the next phase.

First-time participants who complete five rides receive a bicycle license plate and reflective sticker. Veteran participants earn a sticker. As usual for the Sprees the rides are free for all participants. Non Summit County residents can also participate, however they will need to pay $5 to receive their rewards.
