The sunny afternoon on Sunday called for a bike ride-the purpose to discover if additional art had been installed as part of the Akron Art Museum Inside/Out project. We took out the KHS 4 Season 300 and the Phat Cycles Bomber for our discovery ride.
We found two new locations: by the visitors center at Lake Anna, and on the W. Paige side wall of White House Chicken.
We have now located 4 of the 10 installations. Check out our previous blog post showing the other 2 art installations: Barberton will receive ten outdoor installations of high-quality, framed reproductions from the Akron Art Museum’s world-class collection. Brochures and maps of the installation sites will be distributed throughout each neighborhood and will be available at the Akron Art Museum and online at the museum’s website.
Join us in our discovery of the remaining pieces in Barberton. Take a selfie and share your find #inoutbtown
