The project of the Akron Art Museum that brings high quality art reproductions from the Akron Art Museum’s collection has brought art works to Barberton. So far, you can find the art installed by the Akron Art Museum  outside of the Municipal Building on Park as well as the Military Honor Roll at Lake Anna. The art will be in place through June.

In 2015, the Akron Art Museum installed 30 artworks in six different neighborhoods in and around Akron. Inside|Out returns  and will install 40 artworks across eight neighborhoods and outdoor spaces in 2016. Along with the city of Barberton, the spring 2016 (April – June) installations include the Akron neighborhoods Firestone Park, Kenmore, and Northwest Akron & Wallhaven.  Each neighborhood will receive ten outdoor installations of high-quality, framed reproductions from the Akron Art Museum’s world-class collection. Brochures and maps of the installation sites will be distributed throughout each neighborhood and will be available at the Akron Art Museum and online at the museum’s website.

Look for an RD Ride in May that visits all of the Inside/Out art.
