Yesterday was the last day of National Bicycle Month, however the National Bike Challenge runs through September 30th. The National Bike Challenge is a fun way to push yourself- to ride your bike, to ride farther, to ride more often, to get friends and family members to ride with you and encourage them to take the Challenge.
Nationally 11,228 riders have taken up the Challenge logging in 4,342,215 total miles.
The National Bike Challenge is open to all persons age 13 or older. Participants between age 13 and 18 may only use the Site with the supervision and consent of a parent or guardian. The Challenge is offered free to all individuals, workplaces, schools and organizations.
Bike & Rides Rules
-All bikes are allowed with the exception of: trainers, bikes on rollers and throttle controlled e-bikes,
-All rides outside, not on a trainer, count whether you’re riding to work, in the cul de sac with your kids, or on a trail,
– Miles must be logged to the day they were ridden. Rides can be logged at anytime over the month but must be logged in Strava or synced (if using another activity tracking platform) by 11:59 p.m. Central Time of the last day of each month. You must earn at least 100 points each month to be entered into the monthly prize drawing. To be eligible for the prize drawings, the rider must reside in the United States.
