You may or may not have had a chance to ride to work today. Hopefully you have had a chance to ride during the month and an opportunity to enjoy the great riding weather.
We have put together some suggestions to help you to enjoy your first rides of the season:
- Drink plenty of water before, during and after the ride;
- Move around on your bike-stand up on the pedals, move your hands so you are not not in a fixed position during the entire ride;
- To sustain your energy level take snacks if you are going on a longer ride;
- Gradually increase the lengths of your rides. If you are about to enjoy your first ride of the season it is probably not a good idea to go on a 50 mile bike ride.
