Maybe you’ve done this too-gone for a nice long ride on the TowPath trail. You’re feeling strong and the weather is great. Before you know it you find yourself up at the northern border of the park in Cuyahoga County. Then you remember that you started in Canal Fulton…..
Well Bike A Board will help as you can board the train at Rockside Station of the railroad-from Lock 39 of the TowPath trail. You can travel by train to Akron’s Northside Station, and perhaps the refreshments available on the train can get you sufficient energy for your return home from Akron.
The purpose of this post is to share the announcement read in today’s Akron Beacon Journal that the National Park Service is opening a new pedestrian bridge in the Cuyahoga Valley National Park. The bridge is 240 feet long and spans the Cuyahoga River. It will allow TowPath riders access from Lock 39 Trailhead to the CVSR Rockside Station without using the area roads.
