We dressed for the temperature and not the sun-and we ended up being almost too warm on our ride. When you ride in the fall you dress in layers. It may be chilly at the start of your ride but either the sun comes out or you warm up with the exertion of your ride- or both and so you unzip or open your jacket, take off your head band, or change your gloves.
Sunday’s ride was our usual 7 mile loop. It was still dark at 6:30 am in spite of the time change, so we rode in the heat of the day of mid afternoon.
Our return was via the TowPath trail and we spotted the Red Tail Hawk also enjoying the day.
