Our ride to the Akron Aeros Game
I read the weather report for Labor Day and sighed-60% chance of a thunderstorm all day. We had planned to ride from the shop to the stadium to see the Akron Aeros final home game of the regular season. I wondered if we would have to pack the rain gear or take the bus. The review of the weather radar was promising so we decided to ride.
We got on the TowPath trail at the Wolf Creek trail head and rode to meet our friends at the Manchester Road Trail head. We continued on the trail and passed the highest point of the TowPath trail.
We continued along the TowPath till it stopped at Bartges St. At Bartges you have to ride along the road then ride behind Spaghetti Warehouse and pick up the trail along the Canal Park walkway. We had a great time at the baseball game. The Aeros won the game and it was "Dollar Dog Day" !
